On February 5, 2017, I got this close-up view of a female near the gate where I got the picture below.

This male was hanging out on my backyard gate in April 2014. Males differ from females in that their abdomens are smaller, with a narrower form, and their pedipalps have white spots on them.

Here's a male from the same month, in my kitchen. The coloration is different, but the pattern is the same. The grout line at the bottom is about 1/4 inch wide.
