Also known as carolina anoles, these lizards are all over the place in great numbers, both in my yard and around the city. They are not particularly fearful of people, I can get within a foot or so of one without it running away.

Green anoles eat arthropods that are small enough for them to handle. I see them eating moths more than anything else. Cats seem to be their only predators.
