Acorn Weevil - Insect Identification

On May 11, 2014, I saw this acorn weevil on my kitchen window. Acorn weevils climb oak trees, where they use their snouts to poke holes in acorns and suck out some nutrients from them. Females lay an egg in the acorn and close the hole with feces. At some point the acorn falls to the ground and the egg hatches. Then the larva crawls out of the acorn and burrows into the ground to develop.

Weevil wasps hunt weevils, presumably including acorn weevils.
