Created cups to grow poblano seeds indoors – Mixed “germinator” soil with vermiculite for some cups and tried using only vermiculite on other cups.Talked to Larry at Buchanan’s about sprouting seeds indoors. He said my cup size (3 oz.) was good, and it’s good to use milled peat moss mixed with vermiculite. I then bought the peat moss at Wabash.

Finished filling the leaf mold pen to the top.Sowed pepper seeds in cups indoors: Early Jalapeno, Sweet Cherry Blend, and Padron – all from Botanical Interests.
Sowed Monstrueux de Viroflay spinach in gaps between existing plants.
Started soaking snow peas and beet seeds for sowing tomorrow.
