I saw this stink bug crawling on my kitchen back door on March 2, 2017. The species might be in the yard and my house because of the pecan tree next door. According to the U. Florida page (see link above), brown stink bugs feed on the pecan nuts, mostly in fall. This leaves spots on the pecan meat.
