Ischnura posita - BugGuide
I found this make fragile forktail resting on a leaf on February 21, 2017. This species of damselfly is recognizable by the exclamation point patterns on their thoraxes. This individual can easily be identified as a male because of the yellow-to-green color on the underside of his abdomen and the fork-like protrusions from the end of his abdomen, from which forktail damselflies get their name.
