I noticed a small white circle hovering above the grass in the west yard on April 20, 2017. It had to be a spider web, but I didn't see there was a spider underneath it until I saw the photo below. Not much information about it is available online. The BugGuide reference shows that photos of the lined orbweaver in Texas have been submitted for April and for June through October.
