On January 14, 2017, I was taking a picture of a leaf bud on my fig tree when I noticed something was moving on it. This turned out to be a very small (less than 5 mm) jumping spider called Messua limbata (no colloquial name given). She moved around in a small area as I tried to get all the angles I could. It appears that the spider's patterns and color can vary a good bit.
