Pelargonium capitatum - Wikipedia
Vigna unguiculata - USDA PLANTS Database
Duration: Perennial | Native to: Southern Africa | Edibility: Not described as edible | Status in Yard: Removed |
I purchased the 'Attar of Roses' geranium from the organic nursery Buchanan's sometime in 2015 or early 2016. It has the fragrance of rose and, amazingly, multiple geraniums in the genus Pelargonium have been cultivated to produce a wide variety of aromas.
The plant was growing well in my herb garden, but I removed it because I would rather use the limited space for herbs. Here it is on July 4, 2016.
