In the early morning of June 20, 2017, I happened to be looking out my bedroom back window when I noticed some ruffling in the sweet potato spinach patch. Then a brown rat hopped out with an entire bell pepper from my garden in his or her mouth. He quickly went out of sight, and I wasn't able to take a picture.
