I sowed seeds in Plot 7, which I had earlier filled with partially done compost, and which was the last plot to be seeded in 2018. I sowed these seeds:
- Spinach "Bloomsdale"
- Radicchio "Palla Rossa Mavrik"
- Arugula using saved seeds
- Lettuce "Oak Leaf Blend"
- Lettuce "Buttercrunch"

Over half of my basil seed pots failed and, after waiting longer than needed, I put more seeds in the same pots to try again. These basil seeds were all given a second try:
- Italian Genovese
- Sweet basil from a very old Plantation Products packet
- Napolitano
- Sweet Thai (one of the two pots sprouted)
- Siam Queen
- Italian Large leaf
The ones that succeeded the first time were:
- Sweet Thai (only one)
- Purple Petra
- Greek Yevani
- Sweet Basil seeds from the garden
