On or shortly before 1/11, I transferred my tomato seedlings, all 16 of which grew, into gallon pots. I had some old, every wet potting soil I had left on my back patio for at least a year, and I used it in some of the gallon pots, sometimes alone, sometimes mixed with my compost-vermiculite-peat moss seedling mix, and sometimes only using the seedling mix. I couldn't detect any difference in the outcomes, at least through early February. After repotting, I put them under the seedling tray shelves.
