Algerian Ivy - Wikipedia

Duration: Perennial Origination: North African coastEdibility: ToxicStatus in Yard: Dead, not replaced

Algerian Ivy was on my back fence from the time I moved here in 2013 until early 2017, For most of this time, it neither expanded or contracted much. It's not native by any means, and it crossed my mind to yank it down several times. At some point, I must have done it.

On September 5, 2013, the vines looked healthy on the back fence.
