Podocarpus macrophyllus - Missouri Botanical Garden
Kusamaki - Wikipedia

Duration: Perennial, evergreen Origination: Southern China, JapanEdibility: Raw or cooked fruitStatus in Yard: Stable, 3 trees

I have three kusamaki trees in my front yard: one on either side of my garage, and one at the eastern corner of the house. They are purely decorative and, like so many of the plants that came with the house, from the far east. I like the trees. They have nice berries and look good. However, I need to keep it trimmed so they will look nice for the neighbors.
