Mustang grape started growing in my herb garden on its own, near the wall with the Turks cap. Some of the mustang grape leaves look similar to those of Turks cap, and it took me a while to notice the grape leaves when the plant was young.

In the fall of 2016, I cut back both the mustang grape and the Turks cap. They were spreading deep into the area behind my bedroom. While that's good, I had other plants I wanted to remove from there, and these vines were getting in the way. As of May 2017, mustang grape has loosely covered about half of the area within two feet of my bedroom's back wall.
