The species Brassica rapa includes several economically significant subspecies. In my garden, I have grown these:

	Bok choy (Brassica rapa subsp. chinensis)
	Tatsoi (Brassica rapa subsp. narinosa)
	Turnip (Brassica rapa subsp. rapa)

Brassica rapa can become invasive, and I have noticed that some bok choy has grown outside of the garden beds.
Here is a large pad of tatsoi in early January 2017, just before a hard freeze that killed many of my plants, including the tatsoi.
