Broccoli was among the first plants I grew in the C Bed on August 25, 2013. At the time, I bought transplants, but later I grew seedlings under grow lights and transplanted them.

If you don't harvest broccoli when it forms its flower head (the traditional part to eat) you can see some beautiful, and edible, flowers. This broccoli plant was flowering on February 16, 2014.

This broccoli was just starting to flower on January 24, 2015.
