I have planted endive in the garden, among other lettuce-like plants. Here are some seedlings on Jauary 1, 2017, in Bed 2.

I grew about 10 endive plants in fall 2016/spring 2017. That was a lot more than I needed, especially since the leaves grew back when I cut them just above the root.

On May 1, 2017, I saw a blue flower under my tomato plants. It was from one of the endives I had neglected to pull when I switched from salad greens to tomatoes in that bed.
