Kohlrabi - Wikipedia I don't get very excited about kohlrabi. One can use the odd ball stem base ground up in a thick soup. I grew this one in the spring of 2017.
Like all the other variations of Brassica oleracea, Kohlrabi came to have its current form through human manipulation, in this case by breeding the stem to grow thick and round. Also like all Brassica oleracea, the entire plant is edible.
