Lemon Basil (Ocimum × africanum) is a hybrid between basil (Ocimum basilicum) and American basil (Ocimum americanum). I added a transplant to my back yard in 2014. This picture was taken on June 10, 2014.

By October 19, 2014, the lemon basil had produced seeds, and the cucumber trellis behind it had been removed.
