My first attempt at growing spinach in my yard was on August 25, 2103, as part of my first planting.
In my experience, spinach has a relatively low success rate compared to other garden plants. I did succeed in growing a reasonable amount in the winter and spring of 2018.
Spinach has very interesting cotyledons!
